NSAIDS and kidneys: All NSAIDS even the ones bought over the counter can cause kidney damage especially if taken for long periods of time or if you have underlying kidney disease. None are safer than the other. If you have chronic pain and are taking them for a prolonged period of time, you should have your kidney function monitored periodically. Ans: Could be many possibilities. Need more history. Do you exercise regularly? Do you eat junk or healthy food. And birth issues, etc...
