The best approach is to avoid using all products containing balsam of peru. Simply avoiding certain foods is not enough. Olive, coconut and..: Olive oil is healthy for cooking at low temperature but is not healthy when exposed to high heat. For higher heat i recommend coconut oil, which has many health benefits and does well at high temperatures. Hi-oleic safflower oil is also good for high temperatures.
