26 yo female with severe knee and hand pain in the morning along with pain on balls of feet. Pain also in middle of night. Possible RA or Lyme disease?
Anything is possible: No need to speculate. Go see your family doctor for evaluation, testing & treatment options. S/he can refer you to a rheumatologist if necessary.See 1 more doctor answer

Aches and pains everywhere and pins and needles. I am very concerned about Lyme disease although I don't have rash. Could it be serious?
Last year I was hiking and was bit multiple times by horseflies. 1 bite swelled very large on my foot and another had a "bullseye" looking rash. I've had many health issues since then that seem lyme disease related. Who can I contact to get tested?
I had Lyme disease in 2011 and it was treated with antibiotics Could Lyme symptoms persist years later? I still feel fatigued with muscle aches.
Yes it can: Because the organism causing Lyme is a spirochete, it does not really respond completely to antibiotics and some may have survived. Get several blood tests to, check, for, Luke titters. Make an appt with infectious disease doctor today to check this out and get your immune system checked as well.
Does pheriferal neuropathy caused by Lyme disease go away by itself after healing lyme? My left foot is burning...I can't get no sleep because of it
See a neurologist: This is one situation in which I would urge a 2nd opinion with a neurologist if you have not already seen one. If the neuropathy is related to lyme disease (and imo that is a large "if") the injury to the nerves heals very slowly. A neurologist would rule out other causes and offer you meds which are often very helpful in minimizing the symptoms.See 1 more doctor answer
Last year I was diagnosed with Lyme disease and Rocky Mountain spotted fever. The last few days both of my nipples are sore to the touch?
Sensitivity: I doubt one has anything to do with another. Have your doctor check your estrogen levels (which if your taking intramuscular testosterone for example...will convert excess androgen to the female hormone as well). If your hypothyroid. You may be getting too much thyroid replacement hormone. Flomax (tamsulosin) for prostate issues can also cause similar symptoms. See your doctor, have him evaluate you.
Could knee, foot, calf, and leg pain be caused my Lyme disease or mono or ra? What types of tests should I have? I do have a back history
Cannot diagnose: You need to be thoroughly evaluated and to communicate effectively with the doctor (s) seeing you. This cannot be done long distance over the internet. Make a detailed list of all your symptoms, the sequence in which they occur and their relationships with each other and take this with all you prior medical records to either a rheumatologist or an infectious diseases doctor. Good luck.See 1 more doctor answer
I was bit by a tick pulled all out and has left a mark for a month? My back and arm muscles are aching but I do not have a bull's eye. Lyme disease?
Tick bite and aches: You should definitely see your physician as you may have lymes or other disease without a rash. You still can be treated. See your doctor as soon as possible.
Can someone have Lyme disease without fatigue? Muscle aches/tightness in right side of body, esp upper back/scapular area, arm, and leg for 3 weeks?
Not Lyme: The symptoms you describe are not compatible with lyme disease.
I have constant aching pain in left calf and sometimes thigh. Worse at night. Doc has ruled out Lyme disease and deep vein thrombosis. What now?
More evaluation: If your symptoms worsen with exertion (claudication), you may need an evaluation for peripheral arterial disease (PAD). While these may be simply muscle cramps, be sure to talk with your doctor about sciatica (pain that originates from lower back via nerves traveling to the leg), tendon rupture, and arterial aneurysm. Your doctor may also want you to see a Rheumatologist.
42 female, acute onset swelling/pain leg, knee, ankle, feet, wrist. Fatigue. Eosinophil level 760. bit by tick 8 weeks ago. ELISA neg. For Lyme disease.
Must treat: This is very suspicious for Lyme. About 30% will never test positive for Lyme. You need a course of antibiotics ASAP. Lyme must be treated quickly, or else it becomes chronic and is much harder to treat.
Lyme disease for the past two months, now have severe sore throat, sneezing, nausea, gas, and white tongue two days after taking full dose of doxy (was taking with milk for first three weeks, Lyme specialist told me to stop taking with milk) help! ?
Milk interfer absorp: Doxycycline needs to be therapeutically absorbed. Would be better if you were treated earlier. I am uncertain your present symptoms are related to lyme.
5 days sore throat, severe body/joint ache & fever (100-102). Thought it was strep or virus, but today I find a bullseye-like bite on my trunk. Can it be Lyme disease? Is it too early for blood test?
Epidemiology: When early lyme is suspected, the diagnosis is based on clinical grounds. Taking a picture of the rash & having a doctor examine it before it disappear is advisable. Other things can cause a bulls eye rash such as a fixed drug eruption, southern tick-associated rash illness, etc. Early recognition is very important. Its too early for an antibody blood test. Epidemiology will help your doc answer.See 2 more doctor answers
I began taking Doxycylin one week ago for possible Lymes disease, and have been experiencing bloating, mild tenderness in my abdomen, and swollen feet?
See details: Then call the doctor who prescribed it. It is likely a drug reaction.
Bite of infected tic: Lime disease is spread by ticks that have acquired the germ in the past and it stays in their system. A tick bite from another of the same species without the ld germ will not do it. The tick must get on your body, settle in for a feeding & feed long enough to pass the germ to you (hours).See 1 more doctor answer
