Balanitis (Overview)

Inflammation of both glans penis and foreskin is balanoposthitis. Both commonly occur together in uncircumcised males. Inflammation of the foreskin, most commonly with phimosis (tight foreskin) is often incorrectly called balanitis, whereas it is in fact posthitis.
