Yes, it is possible.: It is possible to have only one swollen tonsil, but it should not be so bug that it is blocking tour throat or airway. Just because there are no tonsil stones doesn't mean there is nothing wrong. If you haven't already, please go see an ENT to make sure there is nothing wrong. ...Read more

Perhaps: Please see your Dentist to rule out a dental cause for your ad breath. Please see ENT to evaluate tonsils (which may be cause of bad breath) and to try to determine why you have what you describe as a globes sensation (something swollen in throat). Get checked: Even if you feel fine, you need to rule out a strep infection or tonsil abscess which can potentially cause cardiac problem if gone untreated on occasions However mono can present with a similar picture. And yes, your bad breath may be related to it. ...Read more

Check with your Dr.: You should consider having this evaluated. Could be a sign of candidiasis or some other disorder.
