I have warm flush feeling in my right butt/back upper thigh when sitting. What would cause it a be how can I treat it at home if possible?
Cause of rash 1st?: You must first determine if it is due to a sensitivity to a component of the spandex i.e., latex allergy/sensitivity or due to chaffing for the shear forces of the garment on the skin. In the former you must discontinue and consider topical antihistamines/corticosteroids. In the latter, consider powders or lotion. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Deep pain in the back upper thigh, below butt comes only for a second or two, feels almost like the bone is hurting. blood clot? Nerve?
Nerve or hamstring: This sounds like the area where the hamstring attaches to the ischial tuberosity (bone) and can be a source of pain. Pain from your low back with nerve irritation can cause similar symptoms. A blood clot is unlikely, as this often causes lower leg pain, swelling & sometimes redness in the leg and a fever. f I can help, then join my care team & virtual practice at www.healthtap.com/dr-clarkeholmes ...Read more
Tender in back, upper thigh. Looks like a small bruise, a little red. I've also been nauseous on and off lately. My walking is fine. Clot or no?
Pain around back upper thigh area sometimes goes towards the inside of my leg. No redness seen or swelling. I have varicose veins. Could this be DVT?
Not likely: A DVT usually is in the medial portiion of the thigh. The upper back part of the thigh usually is more muscular and may hurt from muscular injury. I've had a swollen lymph node in my groin and back upper thigh pain on the same leg for several months. The lymph node is not tender. My thigh is unbearable when I have to walk or stand for awhile. Any thoughts on what could be causing this?
Monitoring Centers: Lymphatic system absorbs/carries things too big to go into the arteries/veins like bacteria eaten by white cells/digested food. Lymph nodes "taste" the lymph everywhere for bad stuff like bacteria/viruses/cancers, etc. When it detects a problem, it alerts the immune system and your body reacts. They enlarge in response to the inflammation they create when they react. They shrink when all is well. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

For a week I've had moderate-severe lower back, hip & upper thigh pain with no known cause or injury. It feels muscular, but not 100% sure - thoughts?
Lumbar disc injury: We need a bit more info: do you have any numbness or tingling going down your hip/thigh? Does the pain get better with rest and/or worse with activity? Most likely though, this is due to some injury to one of your lumbar discs whereby nerves get pinch and inflamed. This could be treated with anti-inflammatory medications, heat/ice, gentle stretching, and also pain meds. See doc if not better. ...Read more
