Mid back pain starts just below shoulder blades and radiates around to the front just below breasts left worse than right What is possible cause?

Get checked.: I don't want to be an alarmist, but you could be having symptoms related to your heart. Heart disease symptoms in women are especially difficult to sort out. Other possibilities, of course, include gastro-esophagel reflux and gallbladder stones. Local PM;R doc: Seek out a local pm;r doctor. Without more detail it's impossible to tell for sure, but this is likely not a surgical issue. Pain at the level of the scapula could be muscle pain in the rhomboids or thoracic paraspinal muscles. Interspinous ligament sprain. Fixated thoracic facet joints (a chiropractic issue). Back pain between the shoulder blades is one of the most common "pains" that I see in my practice and can be caused from many daily living activities from computer use to large breasts.
