Not unsafe: Coccygeal Trauma as a child should've healed long ago.The fact that you continue to have chronic pain is unfortunate but does occur in a small % of people who've had an injury to the coccyx. There is a risk for reinjury in the extreme sport of skydiving but standard precautions prevailing you should be fine. You could add a little extra padding to the tailbone for good measure. ...Read more

Is it safe to do indoor skydiving if i have a mild back pain? (due to a broken coccxis, broken as a child..)
Back pain: Mild back pain should not limit your sports. Make sure that you do back exercises and stretches beforehand and ice the back afterward. If the activity does make the pain worse then either modify your approach or don't participate in that sport. The tailbone pain is likely related to degenerated lumbar discs and not a previously fractured coccyx. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Would having an epidural during child birth 19 mos ago cause mid to lower back pain while laying down?
Back pain after epid: It is not likely your pain is from the labor epidural after 19 months. What is more likely is a back injury resulting from the actual vaginal delivery and associated efforts. This can be caused by a strain or herniation. Also, you should not overlook the possibility of an unrelated medical problem. If the pain is not dissipating and does not respond to over the counter medications, see a doctor. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
