Last week had stomach pains left side littile back pain blood in stool once n tissuepaper. Hameroids? I do have.Constipated.Today mietmaid caused pain

Blood may be from...: Blood on toilet paper can be from hemorrhoids with or without constipation. Depending on the age of the patient, the doctor might also worry about polyps or colon cancer. Certain infectious "dysentery" diarrhea illnesses have bloody stools. If a constipated person drank a whole lot of apple juice, then his bowels upstream might strongly contract to push out the hard poop downstream. Ouch. Ouch. ...Read more

What could cause lower back pain and blood in stool?

Something stinky!: These are 2 common independent issues people seek evaluation. This could be coincidental or the back pain is leading to constipation or vice versa &there is now bleeding from a hemmoroid. This could also be something happening within your GI tract causing both the back pain & blood or even due to taking anti inflammatory medication for your back pain which could be a reason for blood. Lower back pain, leg pain, blood in stool. What are these symptoms of?

Go see your doctor: Blood in the stool is a "red flag" condition and reason to see your doctor. It may be minor or major. The association of other conditions may mean one or multiple conditions. Looking for one diagnosis may not be realistic because medical theory no longer uses occam's razor, the belief that one diagnosis is usually the best answer to a bunch of symptoms. ...Read more

Fast pulse, red blood cells little low, ESR high. Ana positive 1:640 speckled. Up back pain 1 yr blood in stool twice year or so.I do have hemroids?

See your doc: The symptoms you are giving warrant further wrork up. Hemorrhoid alone do not explain the high ESR and the fast pulse. It is important to know how high is the ESR and to do a complete physical exam to look for skin rash or mucosal ulcers. Only a physician can guide you to get an accurate diagnosis. ...Read more

Is it normal to have major bloating a day after a rectal exam w/ lower back pain? Impacted w/ blood in stool, external/internal hemorrhoids, loose stool

Is it normal to have major bloating a day after a rectal exam w/ lower back pain? Impacted w/ blood in stool, external/internal hemorrhoids, loose stool

Depends: I would need to know more about your hx, and what exactly was done during the rectal exam. If you had invasive type of procedure--lower GI series where a barium enema is introduced into anus--or a flexible sigmoidoscopy/colonoscopy--then cramping or bloating are to be expected for 4-24 hrs. If you are having further difficulties, consult with dr who ordered, or performed tests. Good luck. ...Read more

Might of swallowed small peice/s of glass over day ago, pain in back, no blood in stool.

I'm sorry to hear: that you swallowed some glass, I assume inadvertently. If it has been more than a day, it's likely that the glass has exited your stomach and entered your intestine. Glass is difficult, if not impossible to spot on an X-ray. If the piece was smaller than an inch or so, it likely hasn't hung up, and as long as you feel well and don't have any bleeding, you're likely ok. Check with your doctor.. ...Read more
