By : By bleeding i assume you mean vaginal bleeding? Prolonged vaginal bleeding not related to your period is called dysfunctional uterine bleeding. Depending on your age, there are a variety of things that could be causing it such as a hormone imbalance, annovulation, pregnancy, pelvic inflammatory disease, uterine fibroids, trauma, menopause, inherited bleeding disorders, and rarely, cancer. See PM MD ASAP: Low back pain only at night is a red flag. This could mean something serious is going on. Please see your family md or pain management md asap and get a lumbar x-ray.
