Back Of Thigh Pain When Sitting
I have thigh pain usually while sitting at work all day. This just started off/on recently. Scale 1-10 about a 3 or 4. What causes it?
Hip rotation/spasm: Sitting all day, it's the new american sickness. Our bodies were simply not meant to sit. Unfortunately for those of us that have to, that usually means that over time, we will develop pain. You can see an osteopathic doctor (do) who practices omt, or a chiropractor who can do hip manipulation. In addition, muscle relaxers from your doc may help. Heat, stretching, getting up will help. G'luck!

Lumbar disc injury: We need a bit more info: do you have any numbness or tingling going down your hip/thigh? Does the pain get better with rest and/or worse with activity? Most likely though, this is due to some injury to one of your lumbar discs whereby nerves get pinch and inflamed.
