I've had a swollen lymph node in my groin and back upper thigh pain on the same leg for several months. The lymph node is not tender. My thigh is unbearable when I have to walk or stand for awhile. Any thoughts on what could be causing this?
Monitoring Centers: Lymphatic system absorbs/carries things too big to go into the arteries/veins like bacteria eaten by white cells/digested food. Lymph nodes "taste" the lymph everywhere for bad stuff like bacteria/viruses/cancers, etc. When it detects a problem, it alerts the immune system and your body reacts.
