Dull neck pain in the back of the neck on the right side where shoulder meets. Sharp pain when swallowing in that area.
See a physician: This may be something as simple as a rib that is out place, but with a sharp pain during swallowing, I would recommend seeing a physician and having an examination, possibly imaging to make sure something more serious is not occurring. If everything bad is ruled out, then consider manipulation and physical therapy. Again, I would first recommend evaluation by a physician.

Doctor can examine: New throat pain can be from a strep throat infection (antibiotics are needed), a cold or influenza (antibiotics usually not used), or from some other cause such as allergies or irritants. Usually, a person sees the doctor if the sore throat is bothersome, recurrent, or doesn't go away quickly (mainly to check for strep). Some throat lozenges and Tylenol (acetaminophen) or Motrin can decrease pain.
See a doctor: Could be viral disease, but still need to be seen given your history

Worried about hump on back of neck/top of spine. Had since childhood can be tender and now have neck pain, Worried about cushings?
Be seen: If you are worried about it, I would not hesitate to be seen. Cushings can be easily checked for. There are two spinous processes in the spine between the cervical and thoracic areas that can be quite prominent in certain people and are not necessarily associated with cushings. Again, I would not hesitate to be checked if you are concerned.

Stiff neck: Be sure the problem is not related to a head/neck infection. Old neck injury can result in painful arthralgia.4/10 pain is controlled by any NSAID like ibuprofen or naproxen. Next, use ice to relieve spasm and pain the begin isometric exercises. If still in pain try cervical traction of about 15# for 30" at a time.
