Doctor insights on:
Back And Side Pain On Left Side
18 year old female experiencing mild lower back, lower abdomen, and side pain (especially left side) for over 2 weeks.
Diffuse pain: See a human doc and give him/her a thorough history and detailed physical examination. That is the key to good medicine! You may be asked to have a laboratory exam and imaging (ultrasound or MRI, etc) exams and possibly see a specialist if he's stumped. Hopefully in the words of Frank Mankowicz (in "Casablanca") "This may be the beginning of a beautiful relationship."
Pain in lowerd left back and side pelvic pain on left side but just started on a scale of1 to 10 pain is an 2 sometime I feel leg pain also left side feet to 33 don't have kids worry it might be cancer?
If it makes you feel: Any better cancer would not be my first or second guess based on the limited info you provided. Put yourself at ease, make an appt to see your doc for a complete exam. Cancer would not be my third guess either. The smart thing is that you are seeking treatment before pain increases, but seek it in person.See 1 more doctor answer

Pain from IBS.: IBS can cause a pain that would usually be described as a bloat. But, I wouldn't just assume this, as certainly other things can cause abdominal pains. Your pains should be investigated to make sure they're due to IBS and not something else.
When a belly is distended or bloated is it hard or soft? I cannot decipher? I also have lower/middle left back and side pain.
Back pain: This is most common cause, abdomen usually harder compared to normal situation. The back pain pain most probably musculo skeletal pain form the back joints, need more information and physical exam to help you better.
I fell on my left side, pain, tingling, warm to touch, hard time walking, pain on left side of back, what could this be muscles nerves?
Muscular skeletal: Could be a muscular skeletal injury. Go check it out in the emergency room
Abdominal pain on left side pain up bottom and back and womb its not a period and not constpated she's 14?
Many possibilities: Left sided abdominal pain can be due to several different things. There are several organs that are close together in the pelvic area from which the pain may originate. In addition to menstrual cramps and constipation, the pain could be caused by an ovarian cyst or bladder infection, for example. She should be evaluated by a doctor and perhaps have some tests to determine the cause of the pain.
Sharp left sided abd: May be gastritis with or without H pylori- Anatacid may help pain but if H pylori need antibiotics. Avoid motrin like products, caffeine, spicy foods; or may be constipation -drink fluids eat fiber in avocados, sweet potatoes, greens, as the splenic flexure of the colon is there. Rarely may be kidney stone, or a lung clots (worse with breathing)or even just a vaginitis.. F/u/ w/ docSee 1 more doctor answer

Had c section 13 weeks ago. Healed ok. Getting stomach pain, back & side pain on left and hip pain both sides. Recovery? Or Should I be worried?
Pain s/p c section: 13 weeks after c section you should be pain free and back to normal. May be adhesions or a fluid collection or even abscess/ infection/retained product-endometriitis (usually have fever). Consider an untrasound or CT to check for infection. Adhesion which no one can predict, are usually only seen at surgery because you actually have to look. Call you doctor or go to an ER
Some thoughts...: For a young guy who's otherwise healthy, we think of lower back strain (muscle strain) as one of the most frequent causes. Other things that can give pain in that location - kidney stones, gas, constipation, and less frequently kidney infections, diverticulitis. If you're having a fever, numbness or weakness in any of your legs, or problems controlling bowel or bladder, see your doc asap.
Kidney?: Possible kidney stone, u better check with you pcp so he can order, urinalysis and possible xrays.
Started with pain in right lower back going into my right side pain horrendous now its at my left lower back goin into my left side?
Many possibilities: This could be due to a spine or back muscle problem, which needs time to heal and may benefit from anti-inflammatory medications. It may also be a kidney infection which is commonly accompanied by fever and urination symptoms. A doctor can look for other causes such as appendicitis, other intestinal problems, tumors or cancers in the area, problems from the aorta or pancreas in the abdomen, etc...
Woke with left side pain, near bottom of my ribs. Can feel it front through back. It comes in waves and eases for a bit.
Gas: The most likely cause is gas in your intestines given the location at the bend of you colon (splenic flexure) and the colicky pattern of pain you describe. It should ease away on its own over the course of the day. If it persists for more than a couple of days or if your symptoms worsen consider seeing your doctor.See 1 more doctor answer
I have had a mid back, left side, pain for about 10 days. Each morning I awake with no pain and it begins about an hour later. Possible cause?
Most likely muscular: Or arthritic in origin. It is unlikely to be serious as the pain is not constant and only starts after activity. It should be self limiting or may require some otc medication if no contraindications. If it persists or worsens, then see your doctor.
Dear sir, my friend is suffering from side pain on the left side of her body. It may start from back go to leg, leg to shoulder. It pain a lot sometim?
More information nee: The back pain radiating to the left leg may occur with a disc or spur in the vertebral area pressing on a nerve root. There is no direct anatomic connection between the left leg and the left shoulder. Therefore all of these pains may not be interrelated. It's best for your friend to see a physician who will take a thorough history and perform an examination and do appropriate tests for diagnosis.
