This doesn't tell: There is nothing here to say "yes", but this doesn't rule most stuff out. You may have hpv / human papillomavirus, sypilis, chlamydia, hiv, hepatitis, crabs, herpes gonorrhea or trichomonas that is not active, the pap smear isn't about ruling these in or out; it is primarily a search for malignant / premalignant cells. I'm sorry if there was some confusion. Best wishes. ...Read more

Here are some ...: For a 10-y-o female, I would insist on obtaining another urinalysis from properly collected urine specimen if her history & physical exam by a pediatrician to confirm as one with a simple & clean history. Then treat and watch her as non-complicated UTI or fungal infection, etc. Otherwise, some imaging studies to further confirm nothing unusual in her genitourinary tract. Does the "beneficial bacteria" in yogurt kill candida albicans overgrowth in your intestinal tract?
Candidal overgrowth: This urban myth has not been scientifically proven, but it has not been disproved. The "balance" between bacterial flora and yeast cells in the intestinal tract (colon) is generally regulated by what you eat. If you choose to add unpasteurized yogurt to your diet it may well change the character of your stools, since it contains lactobacilli. Same available as a probiotic for oral use. ...Read more

Immunized?: If your immunization status is up to date, you should have nothing to worry about. Further, tetanus is usually a disease of deeper, penetrating injuries, not superficial cuts. I have been experiencing itching after I have a bowl movement once in a while. I thought it was a cleaning problem. I bought/used baby wipes. I also used an antiboitic (bacitracin) which i rubbed in the area.
Itching : Itching after a bowel movement usually is due to hemorrhoids. Try an over the counter hemorrhoid cream, use after every bowel movement and monitor for improvement. In addition there are more serious rectal lesions that can cause itching (i.e. Carcinoma). Therefore you should have a doctor examine you. Do not worry, the hemorrhoids are much more likely. Take care. ...Read more
Not necessarily: Which is why some people get into trouble (get sick) when they microwave raw chicken- the microwaves may not penetrate evenly (unlike heat from an oven), and some germs which are always there are allowed to survive. Microwaves should only be used for warming up food, not for cooking - since they cannot be trusted. Better to use an oven, fire or grill -something that we know kills those germs. ...Read more
