My 2 month old is fussy and has a lot of phlegm he has been able to sleep he has been coughing too can I give him some infant tylenol (acetaminophen) ?

Sick 1x a month. cough, cold, yellow phlegm. Daily probiotics, vitamin C 2000 mg, exercise 2x a wk, sleep, eat well. Hyperthyroidism now normal. Help.

Sometimes antihistamines like zyrtec can make getting secretions loose harder. Some folks feel vitamin c helps, and it likely will not hurt, but no great studies exist. Zinc lozenges may have a role.
