Change: A babies perception may be stressed as they enter into a sleep phase as they don't understand leaving an awake state. They are aware something is happening but don't wish it too. Try playing soothing white noise - spa music - in the background to help the baby relax. Nap when baby naps: Sleep deprivation can cause significant fatigue & stress. I presume you are not sleeping because the baby wakes you up. Are you nursing? Having your baby in your bed or right next to you at nite can allow you to nurse at nite with minimal disruption. Sleep: You probably are just over fatigued yourself! All that stress and lack of sleep and taking care of a baby will definitely do all that to you. Have you taken anything for your back pain like acetaminophen or ibuprofen or naproxen?
