Baby Suddenly Start Crying And Cant Breath
My sisters new 6 day old baby breaths really fast maybe since he was born. Is it bc he cant go to the bathroom or could something be wrong?
Baby breathing: Babies breath fast. A respiratory rate of 60 breaths a minute is normal. That's 1 breath every second! If the baby has not been in yet for his first post-hospital check-up, then he needs to be seen today. If he had his check up and all was fine at that visit, you need to relax. If poor feeding, then back to doctor. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers

My son has been crying it out. He falls asleep in crib in about half an hour but all night he has random quick breaths like he can't calm down. 6month?

When he breathes quickly he is probably waking up very briefly. We all have very brief awakenings especially during rem sleep. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Are breath-holding spells concerning? It happenend to my 16 months son twice, once because he was afraid, & once after crying for sth he wanted
Not necessarily: This is a simple amplification of crying/fitting that often escalates if you pay a lot of attention to it.
