Baby Sitting Up Leaning To On Side
28weeks 1st baby, pelic pain/pressure for two weeks, getting worse. Hurts to move from laying to sitting, getting up, from side to side, sharp pressure?
Why does my 6 month old baby drop her head down or to the side suddenly then picks it back up? It looks like when a person falls asleep sitting up
If you're not sure: If this is an involuntary movement, video an episode on your smart phone. Include your child's behavior for a few minutes after the episode.Note what she's doing prior to an event, how often it happens, & whether the movement interferes with eating, playing, etc., all useful history for her doctor, along with physical & neurological exams & developmental screening ( see firstsigns.Org). ...Read more

Yes: Crawling would be a little advanced at 7 months (9 months is the "normal"). With any milestone, the age given is the age at which the "average" infant can to do it. That leaves a pretty wide range. For sitting without support, the milestone is 6 months. In general, as long as the milestone is met before the next milestone is due (in this case, at 9 months) it still falls in the normal range. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
Depends on age: If your baby is breastfeeding how long he is on the breast depends on his age. In the beginning he's still learning how to nurse effectively and your body is still mastering the let down process. In the first few weeks each feed may take 40 minutes (10-20 minutes on each breast). By the time his 6 months old you'll both be more efficient and he'll spend 5 minutes per side and be back to playing. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
My 10 month baby is able to pull up to a stand position from sitting but can't go from laying down to sitting. Should i be worried ?
Baby milestones: Nope. Don't worry. Babies learn at their own speed making the best use of their bodies as they learn about them. The standing position is a more advanced, more physiological difficult position, so he is a star! he doesn't need to go back and learn the more rudimentary step. Just enjoy watching him/her learn! ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

This will not work: Please forgive my frankness. Your child's natural complexion is the result of genes, and no food choices by anyone will affect this. In the past, much of the world has discriminated against people who are naturally dark-complected. My hope is that this will vanish as it did long ago in america, and even more that you will teach junior life skills effectively without regard for skin color. ...Read more
