Baby Seems To Shiver When Sleeping But Is Not Cold
Can an airconditioner make baby get a cough? Ours is not really too cold actually and its not direct on her crib
Infant &air conditio: The filter should be changed on the air conditioner and for window units ( the vent should be closed)there are prefilters that would reduce particles. may also consider a room air purifiers like SPT magic at home depot . I feel warm when sleeping. Not sweating just warmer than usual, no fever. What can it be a symptom of?
Normal: for many people this is a normal sensation and not a symptom of any medical problem. If concerned, discuss with your doctor as there may be some other symptoms as well that can be overlooked by patients, but a good review of systems by your doctor can uncover possible issues. Baby has a raspy voice and is
Blinking hard. Quite fussy. Not sleeping well. Not sure what to make of it.
URI: Probably the beginning of an upper respiratory viral infection. As long as the baby is feeding well, breathing without difficulty and doesn't have a fever then you can treat at home with nasal suction, humidifier, etc. If the baby seems to have trouble breathing, becomes listless or has a fever, see your doctor or urgent care. ...Read more
Is it true that breastfeeding mom should avoid going out at night coz the fog and cold wind might make the baby caught cold?
Well, a baby: Should not be overly exposed to the weather, but properly wrapped and warm, the fog is not a vector of disease. Just be sensible, you can go out at night. ...Read more

10 week baby is fussy and trying to lift up while laying down. Eats well but not sleeping. Try's to bring hand to mouth. Is this bacuase of gas?
3.5wks postpartum. I either freeze or sweat all night. Temperature is normal. Is this normal hormone stuff? When will it stop?
Probably ok: If you are not having fever, it's probably hormonal and should get better in time. How long is hard to ay. If you are breastfeeding, it may be a while. If you are breastfeeding and having breast pain, redness or warm areas, you might have a breast infection and need to call your MD. ...Read more

Get an exam: I recommend seeing your dentist, oral surgeon, or otolaryngologist. 8mth old baby is teething, not really wanting to eat, refuses bottle sometimes &fussy, and seems to want to sleep more? No fever, should I be worried?
No, but you should: have your pediatrician check the baby out if it's lasted for more than a few days after (s)he developed the rash of Fifth Disease. The rash can last for weeks, but any sore throat, nausea or headache should start to subside once the rash appears. Teething as a cause for changes in behavior, feeding & sleeping is a diagnosis of exclusion. ...Read more
Evaporation: When your body temperature is high, it tries to cool itself by opening capillaries near the surface of the skin. This brings the "warm" blood to the surface and increases evaporation. Evaporation causes the sensation of cooling. As an example, poor a small amount of rubbing alcohol on the back of your hand; as it evaporates, you will note a sense of cooling to that area. ...Read more
