9 month old baby boy wont drink milk. My pedia says baby is healthy. How do I make him drink? Formula fed.
Feeding problems: You can not make him drink.Formula. At this age he should be drinking less milk and eating more solid foods. You can offer him formula not whole milk, in a sippy cup with his solid food meals. If your pediatrician says he is growing well then not to worry. He should be taking 6 meals including solids per day. Do not make eating a struggle! ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
My son is 4 months old. Can i skip cereal but still formula feed him and give him stage 1 gerber baby food?
Sure, but....: A well rounded diet would include the cereal, which in baby food is fortified with iron, something infants need in their diets. Also, encourage you talk to pediatrician about timing of solids at 4 months. Some evidence waiting until 6 months may have advantages the most important thing you are already doing -continuing breast milk or formula, which is the cornerstone of your infants diet right now. ...Read more
Imy sister is having a four months baby and she found herself pregnant, can she continue breastfeed her little baby?
8-9 months: Yogurt can be a healthy part of a baby's diet. Make sure you buy plain whole milk yogurt- babies need these fats, so no nonfat yogurt for them! also try to avoid buying the flavored varieties- plain is best and if you want to mix in some bananas or other fruit thats fine but the pre-flavored ones have too much added sugar for babies. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
I have 4 month old active baby .he is on bottle feed.can i give him banana n potato with formula milk ?
Infant feeding: You can introduce solids at age 4 months to 6 months. It is not to replace his breast milk or formula but to introduce him to new tastes and textures. Your baby is ready for solids if he has doubled his birth weight and his good head control and has lost the tongue thrust reflex. ...Read more
My 7 months old formula fed son is constipated, i started him on baby food.Tried giving him prune juice but unsucessful. What else can I give him?
Depends: Try to find out if a particular food is causing this. I've noticed sweet potato, bananas and some cereals often do (but it could be something else). Try to eliminate that food or at least decrease. If none found, then make sure baby is getting enough liquids and fiber in diet. Then, you can try giving prunes and other fruits in higher amounts. If still not better, talk with your pediatrician. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
My daughter is 5 months and 2 weeks old. She has been eating solids since 4 months. Can I give her baby snacks (i.E veggie sticks, etc) she doesn't crawl?
No. Still too young.: Babies around 6-8 months are breast feeders or bottle feeders, with pureed (or very mashed up) foods just for treats or learning experiences, but not as big parts of their diet. Babies don't chew food even after their first birthdays. Solid foods are too risky, and even so-called teething biscuits tend to choke babies. If trying such finger foods before 18 months, learn to do baby CPR first! ...Read more

Follow her immunization schedule and development with her Pediatrician, enjoy ur kid ...Read more

What table foods can I give my 6 month old she have been eating home made baby food scenes she was 4 1/2 months old.
Pureed foods: She can have very soft foods such as yogurt for infants, but for now pureed foods are advised. She is learning to coordinate swallowing food without choking, and soft food is recommended. When she is older, then I would recommend introducing table foods in very small pieces no larger than the end of her finger. The foods should include fruits, vegetables and protein. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
