My 4 month has 100.4 fever after vaccination, fever was not there before 12 hours, is it ok?

Yes. If your baby is: Uncomfortable, give tylenol (acetaminophen) in the dose your pediatrician recommends. Maternal metabolic disorders ( obesity, hypertension, diabetes) are associated with ? risk of autistic spectrum disorder & other neurodevelopmental disorders, fever from vaccines is not. The aap recommends developmental surveillance with standardized screens (on firstsigns.Org & the aap's healthy child app) for all children. ...Read more

Can a child vomit after getting the flu vaccine shot?

Can a child vomit after getting the flu vaccine shot?

Yes: People who are sensitive to vaccines or the adjuvants in them can react and vomiting is a possibility . It is more likely to be associated with the vaccine reaction if it occurs right after or within 24 hours in my experience. Some people experience fever, fatigue, irritability, or just not feeling well after vaccines. ...Read more

My 12 months baby got an adult flu shot and a baby flu shot ?

My 12 months baby got an adult flu shot and a baby flu shot ?

Oops!: I assume this was an error. Injectable flu vaccine is a killed virus vaccine. Your baby will not get the flu from it. Because there is more antigen in the adult form of vaccine your baby may have more antibody response--fever, aches, fussiness. If your baby got a multidose vial flu it was likely preserved with some thimerosol. This has a little mercury in it. I would talk to the dr about that. ...Read more
