Talk to the prenatal: Genetic counselor at the fertility clinic. Age-related odds are greater than 50% that each of your embryos has aneuploidy, an abnormal number of chromosomes, many of which either won't implant or wion't be carried to term. Heparin: Plain Heparin and Lovenox (enoxaparin) (lmw heparin) can both cause easy bruising and bleeding, even hemorrhage, decrease in normal platelet numbers, bone thinning - scary stuff - but usually are very safe. I am going to start my IVF cycle and my RE has asked to start on Baby Aspirin and continue throughout the cycle. Does it have any benefits/side effect?
Probably little: Whether or not Baby ASA has any benefits depends on your clinical history: for most it does not, in some cases it may have a small benefit. Your MD can discuss whether you are "one" of these people. Side effects? It's given to babies for fever for over 50 years. There are rare complications in individuals, but these are the exception.
