Is it harmful to have b complex shots one time every week just due to the enthusiast to injection by the beautiful woman nurse? I love her injection.
I think you: Know that this is not the reason to get injections done. You should not have anything injected into you that is not medically necessary..... I'm sure you know this already. ...Read more
Why do most doctors say using b complex injections one time per week without prescription and without any necessity are derogatory? What's the reality
There is no need:
There is no need to give weekly injections of vit bcomplex. There is no medical indication. You can take vitb supplements available over the counterby mouth
rarely we recommend injections of one or other individual vitamin if we have suspected and confirmed its deficiency like vit b12which can be given by injection, by nasal spray or orally and others as well. ...Read more
Started b complex day before blood draw didn't take one morning of draw but b12 was >2000 is this from the one pill day b4?
I would doubt it: As the usual normal value is about 180-900 ng/L, your reported value (if in these units) should not result from one B complex vitamin pill (or even daily pills!). As a high B12 level is uncommon, I would be suspicious of the test and repeat it before doing anything else. Rare causes of elevation are liver disease and bone marrow problems including some leukemias. ...Read more
Is it safe to take one a day women's multivitamin in the evening and a super b-complex in the morning? Or can I take them together?
Overdoing it: There seems to be a myth in human experience that 'more is better'. In medicine it is proven over and over and over again that in almost all instances more is dangerous, less effective and causes more problems. Taking two different vitamins is unnecessary and puts extra strain on your liver and such. I would advise picking one and sticking to it. ...Read more
I use b complex shots one time per week just for recovery and without prescription which is injected by the nurse. Is it healthy? Is it insanity?
Recovery from what?: What are you recovering from? Some people receive B12 shots regularly, especially if vegan or if having absorption issues. But you have not shared the specific what or why you're doing this. I don't know that it's "insanity, " but depending on your situation these shots may be more than necessary. ...Read more
If one took more then daily needed amount of b complex vitamins ie by supplements, will there be any side effects, or will the excess just be stored?
Listen to your body: B vitamins are water soluble and not stored. Excess makes urine yellow. They do require activation in the liver and taking excessive doses of some of the b vitamins such as b-6 can cause problems. Some persons need methyl folate (folic acid) and methyl cobalamine and b vitamins that don' t contain these forms may not be metabolized normally. Vit c with bioflavanoids and vit d3 may be needed as well. ...Read more

Its it okay for me to take B-Complex 100 from TheVitamin Shoppe company and One A Day Men multivitamin altogether? Am I overdosing on Vitamin B?
It's OK: You can't overdose on real B vitamins. But be careful with synthetic forms. The easiest way to tell is to look at the ingredient list of your supplements. Stay away from the ones that have folic acid or cyanocobalamin. Look for the ones that have folinic acid and methylcobalamin. ...Read more
Can I take ginko biloba and korean ginseng together one week after weaning off cymbalta (duloxetine)? I also take omega 3, super b complex and garlic.
Generally: One waits 6 weeks to see what are all the effects of coming off a med like cymbalta (duloxetine). Cymbalta (duloxetine) can have an"upper" effect and so can ginko-so don't start too soon. In general, I advise not taking supplements more than 5 days a week when you do take them and also introduce them 1 at a time. Full effects of supplements may not be noted for 3 months. Is it safe to take a one a day womens multivitamin along with a nature made stress b complex vitamin? I was told I could because the bs you would pee
Vitamins: I don't know what kind of multivitamin you're talking about -- different ones have different contents and fillers. As long as you are not sensitive to corn or other fillers in it, nature made stress b complex should be fine. Be sure to look at how much vit c is in your other vitamin, because your "b complex" has 500 mg in it also. You can get loose stools from more vit c than you can tolerate. ...Read more

Hello.: Hello. People often take vitamin c separately if they are looking to take really high doses. However the body tend to urinate out the excess. Multiple vitamins should contain an adequate amount of vitamin c. By taking one pill it could be less expensive in the long run (vice a series of pills) and less complicated. Usually vitamins are helpful if you have a deficiency or you don't get an adequate dietary intake, if you fall into one of those two categories it may help. It should not cause problems wtih sleep. ...Read more

Stop taking shots!: Perhaps you are having an allergic or autoimmune response to something in the injections. Each time you do this the response from your body is amplified. This is called an anamnestic response, and could be potentially dangerous. Whatever you are trying to accomplish could probably be done in a much safer fashion with oral supplements. ...Read more
Can I take biotin together with vitamin b complex to tame my acne? Can I use benzoyl peroxide aswel? Which one is more effective, cream or gel?
I do not smoke marijuana but failed a drug test. I do take b complex daily and ibuprofin 400mg...
From what?: Neither vitamins or ibuprofen will make you flunk a drug test. Chance ingestion of poppy seed muffins are a classic example where a common dietary item could trigger a false positive, this time to opiates (poppy). You need to find out what agent caused you to fail and figure out how you might have been exposed. Just being in the same room with some weed smokers could make you flunk. ...Read more
Is it ok to take Vitamin B complex capsules regularly for a long time? Should I take the zinc ones or the non zinc ones?
Vitamins: There is seldom any need to take vitamin supplements in the USA with a balanced diet, but if you do take them follow the directions and do not take more than one each day and it will not hurt you. Zinc is the same. You can choose to do this or not. Very few people are zinc deficient. Good luck and stay healthy. ...Read more

False positive test: "In some cases, a drug test may report the presence of illicit drugs, although none were taken. While this is not common, no test is 100% accurate. For what condition?: Jamieson's b complex 100 mg is a timed-release product. B vitamins are also water-soluble, so that any excess your body does not need will be excreted. Taking vitamin b6 (pyridoxine) at 1-6 grams (not milligrams as in this preparation) per day over many months can cause a sensory neuropathy. For most people, the 50mg b complex would be enough -- if you have poor diet & stress, maybe need more. ...Read more
