NK/T cell NHL: The treatment is largely determined by the extent of disease. Patients with localized stage, therapy would be combined radiation and chemotherapy. Patients with disseminated lymphoma, combination chemo would be recommended.. Not exactly...: Cutaneous t cell lymphoma (ctcl) is a disorder of a type of immune cell, the t cell. Hodgkin's disease is a cancer of b cells, another type of immune cell. Thus ctcl is technically a non-hodgkin's lymphoma. However, people typically use 'non-hodgkin's lymphoma' to describe other types of b cell cancers that do not fit the characteristics of hodgkin's disease. TcellNHL: The cure is dependent on sub t cell types, stage of disease, age of patient, lymphoma in node or organ, person's ability to do activity of daily living and ldh level. Pathology of what?: My guess is you had blood sent for flow cytometry. If you just had this blood test, Hodgkin's disease (a type of lymphoma) can't be diagnosed with that. A pathologist has to look at tissue under the microscope to make the diagnosis. This is usually a lymph node that has been removed. If you have enlarged lymph nodes, this may be a test you will need.
