Pick one and stick!: The actual time of day that you take a daily med usually does not matter (unless you get an unpleasant side effect after taking that med). Just try to take the medicine around the same time every day. Make sure to finish all antibiotics even if you are feeling better. Don't use OTC: Over the counter cough and cold meds like Coricidin use a shotgun approach combining several medications that don't even work. Usual ingredients: acetaminophen (does work for pain and fever), Dextromethorphan for cough (ineffective), Anti-Histamines (ineffective) and Pseudo ephedrine decongestant (Nasal sprays work much better)

Take it all...: ...including the "shell" pieces. Otherwise you may not et the full dose. This is not a smart solution. See my replies to your earlier questions. Best is to ask your pharmacy about other ways to take the drug, if you can't take some kinds of pills. Or speak with your doctor about doxycycline.
