Fascinating: For scientific physicians, ayurveda is a prescientific medical system developed by people observing and making educated guesses. From my own reading, myrrh, ginseng, garlic, and ginko have interesting pharmaceutical properties. Most of us could not recommend them as supplement though some people do use them. It's complicated: They don't give us enough space here but we all have 3 Doshas but usually 1 or 2 predominate- Vata types tend to be lively, excitable & nervous.Specific diet,herbs & lifestyle changes are advised to help balance one's system.
