Aygestin To Delay Period
Can you take aygestin to delay a period at the same time as birth control pills to prevent pregnancy?
The mixture may lead to heavier bleeding when you stop!
Hope this is helpful
I am trying to postpone my period... I took Plan B 4 days ago? Can I start norethindrone today to delay period? Dose? 5mg or 10mg?
I am going on vacation on friday the 21st for 4 days. Is there any way to delay my period which is due the 20th? I've heard of Aygestin for that.
I was prescribed Norethindrone. 35mg to delay my period. Online it says take 5mg TID but I was only prescribed. 35mg. Will the lower dosage work?
It should, but…: It should, but I would talk with the Doctor Who prescribed it and ask them the same question. You want to be sure that it was the correct dosage and that it was their intention to give you that dosage. I commend you for following up on what you are taking. Good luck.
I was prescribed Norethindrone. 35mg to delay my period. Online it says take 5mg TID but I was only prescribed. 35mg. Will the lower dosage work? I'm afraid its not going to be enough to delay my period.
Maybe: Maybe not. Can you call back and ask for more?

Discuss with your Dr: Your physician likely had a reason for prescribing the lower dose, based upon your particular situation. That's the problem with generalized information on the internet; it does not and can't take individual situations into account.
I want to delay my period for a week while I'm on vacation. How much norethindrone do I need to take daily to delay my period?
Sorry but: HealthTap's agreement with doctors prohibits us from diagnosing or prescribing treatment online in this format. You could see a live doctor for a visit or you could do a virtual consult online, good wishes.
More effective delaying period for a few days: start Norethindrone 0.35mg bc pills on day 23 of my cycle OR Provera (medroxyprogesterone) 5mg 3x day start 3 days bef period?
Might work: These methods that you mention require a prescription for use and need to be taken under the guidance of a doctor. Your doctor might choose either of those but would likely not start them so late in the cycle as it is likely too late to regulate
My period is due in 7 days and I would like to delay it. Can I start bc, progesterone, brevicon, (ethinyl estradiol and norethindrone) depo shot? I am not currently on any bc
Nothing effective: Assuming you are correct in your timing, the only thing that will delay your period is pregnancy. That is clearly not the solution you are looking for. For future reference, you would need to start the pill, ideally, 2 months ahead of time and at least at the beginning of your cycle.
See your gyn: U need an exam and blood work and an ultrasound, you may not be building up enough tissue to get a period assuming u are not preg, your gyn can determine that and treat your appropriately.
No: Methotrexate (MTX), when dosed for autoimmune conditions, (10-25 mg weekly), should not delay your period. Sometimes acute or chronic illness can. If your autoimmune condition that MTX is being used for is active for example, that can delay your period. I would check with your gynecologist first, and make sure that you are not pregnant.
