Quality of sleep?: How do you know if you don't have a sleep problem? Sleep disorder: Even if you are underestimating the amount and quality of sleep you've been getting - it is definitely not enough. You really should see a doctor for a referral to a sleep disorder clinic or go directly. This is not likely to resolve itself and your body, emotions & mental functions can suffer all sorts of damage. Get an eval and treatment asap. Most people need 7-9 hours of sleep per day for optimal health. If you depend on anything like caffeine or other stimulants to keep you going, you are likely going to hit a wall at some point.
