Hair loss is it a side effect of dapsone? I start w/ 75 mg for 2 months and now since a month I m on 150mg/ day. I m also on predisone 10mg/day.

Hair loss is it a side effect of dapsone? I start w/ 75 mg for 2 months and now since a month I m on 150mg/ day. I m also on predisone 10mg/day.

Not commonly: Dapsone has multiple potential side effects including hemolysis, nausia, vomitting, blood in the urine, fever, skin rashes, low WBC counts. Sulfone syndrome after 5-6 weeks of treatment includes fever, jaundice, dermatitis, swollen lymph nodes. Hair loss is not a common side effect. ...Read more

Side Effects: Dapsone: Allergic reaction, liver damage, pancreatitis, lethargy, tingling/numbness, muscle weakness, blurred vision, Steven Johnson Syndrome, stomach upset, headache, difficulty sleeping etc....
R Cinex: Isoniazid + Rifampin.
Isoniazid: Neurotoxicity (Needs to take Pyridoxine), liver damage, loss of appetite, N/V etcc
