Depends: It all depends on how much you expend in activities. Do realize also that if your muscles start to bulk up, you may weigh slightly more even though you may be losing fat. Most people can do ok with 2000 cal/day but if your activities demand more, then you will need to eat more and vice versa. I'm 31 years old, and my husband is 33. I am overweight being 5'10" and 285 lbs, but my husband and I having proactively been TTC for 4 months now. Despite my weight, since I've had a menstrual cycle, it has never skipped a beat (average cycle 28 days).
