Talk to ur doc: You very young. It will be important to determine why you have early plaques. Any autoimmune, obesity, smoking? Your lipid panel seems okay though the triglycerides are elevated. Fenofibrate may be considered for that or diet modification. ...Read more

Focus correct issues: Plavix (clopidogrel) (& aspirin) usually Rx'ed for arterial disease plaque ruptures. (Aspirin & NSAIDs promote gastritis, don't take.) Optimize NMR lipoproteins (get LDL-P ? to <700 nmol/dL), HbA1c <5.0%, SBP <120 mmHg, go HFLC foods & then stop the Plavix (clopidogrel).
