I'm currently using avamys fluticasone furoate nasal spray. Is there a side effect from using this n how long can I use it safely?

If this is not effective, adding an intranasal antihistamine (rx), such as azelastine (astelin) or olpatadine (patanase) is an option. Nose: Stay away from the OTC nasal sprays as they are addictive. Fluticasone is fine but takes three weeks to work. You need to look for a cause such as allergies.
