Autism Toileting Data Sheet
Is there any good data (rcts) on sensory processing disorder in kids without any other diagnosis (autism spectrum, dd, etc)? Thank you.
The American : Academy of pediatrics & coding organizations do not recognize sensory processing disorder as a stand-alone diagnosis, because it's always found as a manifestation of a neurodevelopmental disorder. Occupational therapists use the term descriptively, but it's not a medical diagnosis. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers

What are the reasons that people blatantly ignore clear scientific data that autism and vaccines are unrelated?
No memory to review: The success of the vaccines over many years has led to a generation or more with no memory of epidemics of whooping cough, meningitis & polio.Grandma is likely part of the last generation to face the epidemics & deaths & she was too young to understand the fear her parents had daily. Today it's easy to jump on the bandwagon & cringe at the pain of a shot & look for any reason to avoid them. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

It would be better: to get it directly, especially if there is a trace of blood from skin or urine that's in the water. Part of the difficulty is created by the lack of a definitive test (like a broken leg on x ray) and the need schools have to label a child in some way to justify the special tutoring or instruction they receive. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
Many, many: Think of how you'd behave if you thought everyone knows what you know, feels the way you feel, & wants to do what you want to do. You couldn't lie, but you couldn't know why people go away sometimes when you're just stating a fact, why they say no when you tell them what to do or why they tell you to do something you don't want to do. If you think in pictures, language is a second language. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
