VERY UNHEALTY but...: Regular and diet sodas are incredibly unhealthy & are best totally avoided. They either have toxic levels of sugars (usually as toxic high fructose corn syrup) or chemical sweeteners that may harm us more than sugars! Is a 1500 calorie diet healthy and sustainable if vegetables, fruit, lean protein and in processed carbohydrates are consumed?
Weight and Activity: Yes that diet can certainly be sustained if it provides for the caloric expenditure of the individual on a daily basis. The mix of foods you choose is also very good. REALLY UNHEALTHY!!!: This is recipe for disaster. Potatoes are in the environmental working group's dirty dozen foods-they're high in pesticides if not organic & are readily converted to sugar so raise blood sugar, causing weight gain & increased risk of diabetes.
