Not likely: Nausea is probably not caused by xanax. Your doctor may want you to switch to Ativan if you are beginning to experience middle of the night awakenings on xanax. ...Read more

Unlikely, but...: Ativan is unlikely to cause this, but given that a small percentage of people have paradoxical s/e from this class of meds, wouldn't completely eliminate the possibility. ...Read more

Recheck with doctors: One should recheck with her primary care, gi, and neurology doctors. Gerd is a common problem, and happens in millions of people without the rare condition of intestinal seizures. The primary + GI doctors can check on the gerd and its treatment, whether or not they are part of the int. Seizure problem. Yes, but...: Yes, it can cause bad stomach pain, nausea and vomiting, but I've never seen cases with severe nausea and vomiting. Perhaps there is more going on like pancreatitis? How does your labwork look? I'm glad you have a GI specialist who hopefully and probably took a biopsy with the EGD. Poor you. I hope the zofran and ativan are working. Are you sure there is no bowel obstruction. How long on Simponi? ...Read more
