Would ativan be a better choice than klonopin (clonazepam) to use along with cardizem cd because of the interaction between klonopin (clonazepam) and cardizem.
Yes,,and no: Both drugs have interactions with cardizem. Lightheadedness and dizziness for example. Both can result in hypotension. The number of interactions are greater with klonopin, (clonazepam) but that is probably because Klonopin (clonazepam) stays in your bloodstream much longer than ativan. So if that is your only choice, than ativan. Best choice is to switch to anxiety drug from a different chemical structure completely. ...Read more

10 year old took 25 mg of Benadryl (diphenhydramine) then 1-2 hours later took 1 mg of Ativan prescribed for anxiety. could this interaction be fatal?
I take 1 mg clonazepam and 1 mg Ativan (lorazepam) in the morning for anxiety.Today I wantedTo try adding rhodiola rosea, are there any interactions with the herb?
Possibly: Clonazepam (Klonopin) and lorazepam (Ativan) are benzodiazepines, the former broken down by liver enzyme CYP3A4. Some data suggests that Rhodeola rosea impairs the function of such liver enzymes, so for a given dose of clonazepam a person might end up getting a higher blood level as if she had taken a higher dose. Rhodeola could be helpful so best to discuss with the prescribing provider. ...Read more

I've taken Zofran, oral nasal decongestant, nasal spray(not Same ingredients) &.5 Ativan. Is this ok? I don't see any interactions with them online.
Lots of meds: While classic interactions are not described for above meds I still believe you may be able to get rid of few. I assume that you have nausea, nasal congestion and anxiety? Would start by suggesting to stop the nasal decongestant and tapering the Ativan, which is high risk and habit forming. ...Read more

All of those meds: Are used together in many people, although starting them all at once is not common, in my experience. Not knowing what kind of symptoms you were having, what your previous medical history and kinds of treatment, i cannot say whether it's too much or not. You should not drive or operate dangerous machinery until you know how these medications effect you. There are no specific interactions. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
