I understand your concern. Zoloft (sertraline) is a medication for depression and anxiety.
Ativan is a medication for anxiety.
Ask yourself for reasons to take 2 medications for anxiety; and for increase of dose of Zoloft (sertraline) to 150mg/day which is a high dose.
Using Ativan together with Zoloft (sertraline) may increase dizziness, difficulty concentrating and confusion.

Maybe: Ativan is a sedative like Valium which calms the mind and feelings of anxiety. It is dose related. So sometimes a higher dose is needed, but with caution. It is habit forming. Talk w/ provider: Changing dose levels of psychotropics needs to be done w/ the prescriber. The w/drawal symptoms are not unique to w/drawal and might only have been coincidentally related in time.
