Tolerating?: Everyone has a different tolerance to medications. Both of the above can be very sedating. For those with a high tolerance sedation is not an issue. Unless you have liver or kidney disease these doses are not excessive. Possibly: You should be receiving the care of a psychiatrist and if you are getting appropriate management for your condition including periodic blood work checking for serum lithium levels hemoglobin a1c and blood lipid levels you should be fine. Not a good idea: Not sure why you would want to do this. Lorazepam and temazepam are both benzodiazepines. Temazepam is more sedating and used for insomnia. Lorazepam is less sedating and commonly used for anxiety or agitation, but they both have the same mechanism of action and both are addictive.
