? Sterilize ?: I thought the sterilizers were retired in the 60's. Unless the bottle had leftover crud in it before use it is unlikely it would hurt baby. It is only necessary to clean them as you would your regular dinnerware, with a bottle brush & soap and water unless your water supply is questionable.
