Thrush: Candida, the yeast which causes thrush, is always present in both the mouth and vagina normally. Thrush only occurs when the yeast overgrow. Yeast and oral sex: It would be very unlikely that by receiving oral sex that you would transmit a yeast infection to your partner and cause thrush. Saliva will generally prevent something like that and thrush generally occurs in immuno compromised people.
