Glasses don't change: Wearing glasses refocuses the eyes do that the brains gets a clear image. This helps prevent amblyopia (lazy eye) in children. Wearing glasses does not affect the growth of the eye and won't increase or decrease the changes in shape of the eye over time. The biggest reason to wear glasses is to ensure normal vision development (prevent amblyopia). ...Read more

Glaucoma: Isn't just increased intra ocular pressure, it is also affection of optic nerve leading to visual field loss, unfortunately it goes unnoticed till visual field is significantly compromised. Age doesn't preclude glaucoma given the history of trauma, kindly keep the follow up with the ophthalmologist, keep taking your eye drops as prescribed and check visual field regularly, together with OP ...Read more
