See your MD: If you have persistent symptoms despite using your rescue inhaler, you probably need to be on a controller medication or have your controller medication dose increased. Your doctor can help make that decision. If your asthma is well controlled, you should not need your rescue inhaler more than 2 times per week. ...Read more

Semi prod. cough with wheezing. Clear phlegm. No nasal cong. No fever. Ongoing for a week. No hist. of asthma. What could it be? Should I be worried?

Bronchospasm...: It sounds like you have bronchospasm. There are many possible causes, asthma being only 1 of them. By definition, asthma is recurrent so if this is the first time wheezing, asthma cannot be diagnosed yet. See your doctor to find out why you have bronchospasm and to treat it.
