Caught a virus?: Most things that will give you those symptoms are viral illnesses like the stomach flu, etc. Should the symptoms not improve in the next few days or so or should they worsen he should see his md. Your baby does need to be seen by a specialist. Wheezing at this age may be due to a number of conditions. Crying and increased respiratory effort may be the result of the asthma.
