Need more info....: Do you know why you are anemic? Did you have a blood transfusion to increase your hemoglobin and how long ago was that? Anemia can cause shortness of breath so, if the shortness of breath is new or worsening and, if you haven't had your hemoglobin checked recently, then this needs to be done asap.
