Need more info....: Do you know why you are anemic? Did you have a blood transfusion to increase your hemoglobin and how long ago was that? Anemia can cause shortness of breath so, if the shortness of breath is new or worsening and, if you haven't had your hemoglobin checked recently, then this needs to be done asap. Anemia can also cause weakness, dizziness. Have you had a colonoscopy? You need anemia work-up. ...Read more

Probably not: Asthma causes one to have muscle pains especially if u have been coughing a lot and not well controlled. Chest pain from constant coughing is quite common. Back pain can also result from overuse of respiratory muscles in the back. Be specific: Gerd and alcohol not a good combination so quit drinking, what do you mean tons of knots where?, take Mucinex (guaifenesin) to loosen the mucous, need more investgation about knots, those might be tihtening the rib muscles pl see a pulmonologist asap. ...Read more

Lung examination; inflammation from pneumonia, pleurisy, pneumothorax, bronchitis can be involved. Trauma? Fever? The musculoskeletal system needs a good look; is there tenderness at a point.
