Hormone sensitive breast cancer 7 yrs ago; 3 small spots w breast cancer cells in lungs just showed; now using femara; should I stop using astaxanthin?
Astaxanthin: I will recommend stopping astaxanthin which is a carotenoid but also a potent antioxidant. How Femara (letrozole) or Letrozole interacts with this compound and because of the super radical and antioxidant effects it can potentially make Femara (letrozole) less effective is possible. There is no proven benefit of this in breast cancer. Hopefully this helps. ...Read more

What is the best natural supplement or treatment that does not have serious side effects or risks of cancer?
The VERY best...: Live. Live as if you were still close to nature, as your body was made to do. Stay physically active -- far more than most of your peers. Do physically demanding work or fitness activities. Eat when you're hungry, and things that seem like real, close-to-nature food -- not the greasy / sugary / salts stuff most of us get fat on. Health comes from living richly, not taking pills. Cheers! ...Read more
