What are the many symptoms of Asperger syndrome? How many affected people just have one or two symptoms?
Hard to say.: Asperger's disorder is diagnosed on the basis of persistent impairment in social interactions plus odd or restricted interests or behaviors. One must have at least 2 from a list of criteria related to social impairment and 1 related to behavior. Difficulty reading the nonverbals and facial expressions of others may may putting your own feelings into words in response to theirs. Higher Risk: If you have one child wtih asperger's syndrome, there is a higher risk of another child having similar problems compared to the general population. However, the chances are still much greater that your other children will not have the same problem.
