No, not exactly...: HealthTap PRIME began in the summer of 2014, and is a Primary Care service. A patient pays one fee each month (~$99 in August 2014) so one consult would be ~$99, but 2 visits come out to ~$49 each, 3 is ~$33 each, and so on. Team work: Physician assistants are trained to work as a team member with a physician. They are qualified to take care of stable conditions and also able to recognize when the physician should be called back in to address a problem. No, but it cd help: No, there is no mandate that you HAVE to use a webcam to talk to a doctor on HealthTap Prime. However, it could help in some situations (like if you have a rash, you could show the doctor by camera). The webcam can also make the interaction more friendly.
