Consult MD: Since lichen planus is not cureable and your md has treated it as a dermatosis i would follow his/her advise and treat it as they indicate it should be treated. Sometimes it can go away on its own and is not contagious. Go on living your life and listen and treat like md recommends. Good luck. ...Read more
