Can i take ashwagandha root pill together with the Synthroid pill. I have under active thyroid and am taking 150 mcg of Synthroid each morning. Thanks?
Will Ashwagandha taken daily effect my blood work done for thyroid levels to be checked? I have Hashimotos and get routine blood work. Effect levels?

Animal studies suggest Ashwagandha may increase levels of thyroid hormone in those who are hypothyroid while reducing levels if hyperthyroid. The effects are usually subtle so I would not expect dramatic changes. It's wise to test levels.
